Powersports
Few things are better than hitting the water with your friends and family on a bright and sunny day. If you are ready to take your water adventures to the next level, here is a quick guide to the different types of watercrafts (all of which you can finance through LendCare).
Personal Watercrafts
A personal watercraft is a unit where the rider is sitting, standing or kneeling rather than ‘in’ the vessel. Don’t let their small size fool you! These are versatile and can be used for fishing, watersports or entertainment while camping. Depending on your selection, they can be enjoyed by one or two people riding while another person attempts tricks on water-skis.
Boats
Boats come in all shapes and sizes. They are ideal for leisurely enjoying the water with a group. Here is a list of some of the most common types:
Pontoons
One of the most popular inland boats, a pontoon is a flat, rectangular boat that allows for passengers to move about. Large families or those who love to entertain will get the most of their spacious design. Pontoons are also great for fishing trips due to their shallow draft.
Deck boats
These boats have a large deck space, like a pontoon. They offer many of the same entertainment perks as the pontoon, but can travel at higher speeds, allowing for watersports (water-skiing, wake boarding or tubing).
Cabin Cruiser
These boats are similar to a mobile vacation home and can be used for both day trips and overnight stays on the water. Thinking about spending a weekend on the water? This option is the one for you.
What ever watercraft you choose, you are sure to make the most of your days on the water!
